THE FLOURISH BELIEF

Our why

Knowledge is a kind of confidence.

Flourish is a concept for a new kind of girls’ health education: calm, considered and practical. We bring body literacy into conversations at school and at home, so girls can feel prepared for the changes ahead.

  • ✓Evidence-informed. Content designed around reputable health guidance and reviewed by qualified professionals before delivery.
  • ✓Age-aware. Clear, respectful language tailored to each stage of development.
  • ✓Inclusive and reassuring. No two girls develop in exactly the same way, and every question deserves respect.
For schools & educators

Make space for the conversations that matter.

Interactive workshops can complement your school's existing Life Orientation and wellbeing programme. Each session is planned around the age group, school context and learning outcomes.

A few things to know

Good questions are welcome.

Every school and every family is different. Here are a few starting points.

Which age groups would workshops be for?

The initial concept focuses on girls around Grades 5–7, with separate sessions shaped for different ages and levels of readiness. Content would be discussed with the school in advance.

Would this replace Life Orientation?

No. The intention is to complement existing teaching with an interactive, body-literacy-focused experience and take-home resources.

Is the content medically reviewed?

Before any real programme is delivered, educational materials should be reviewed by qualified healthcare professionals and aligned with relevant school policies and safeguarding requirements.

Will you discuss contraception or medical treatment?

Education should be balanced, age-appropriate and non-prescriptive. The programme can explain basic reproductive health and encourage girls to speak with a trusted adult or qualified clinician for individual medical advice.
